i normally never like any hip hop stuff on ‘so you think you can dance’, but i was watching last night and fell in love with this one.
first off, jakob is hands down my favorite dancer this season. more importantly, my favorite male dancer EVER on that show. he’s incredible.
anyway, tabitha and napoleon choreographed it, and to be honest, their style is the ONLY type of hip hop i actually like. i’m super critical of hip hop choreography on that show cause i’m always looking for something different than everything else i’ve ever seen. why, i have no idea really… it wasn’t my all time favorite type when i used to dance, but… i dug it when it WAS good ;) and with tabitha and napoleon… theres ALWAYS a story behind the dance, and i LOVE that. this one specifically, was about “ashleigh” finding out “jakob” was cheating on her… obviously, when you see it.
that said… if you didn’t see it… watch it. jakob is so well rounded, i can’t wait to see what he does the rest of the season. love love love LOVE watching him!

also? i decided last night… finally… that i’m going back.

there’s no reason i can’t still take classes again… i’ve just put it off for SO long that i lost that desire… mildly.
but i’m honestly like… ecstatic over this. its a high that i haven’t felt in years and i seriously cannot WAIT to get back in my element.
i need this… more than anyone could ever understand. i’ve lost myself and the only time i found me again, was recently, in london. and since i’m not there right now… i need my first love again. i need to befriend my beautiful soul again… and dancing is the way i know how. i’ve just been so depressed lately with where i am.

i’ve never REALLY been happy here. and its only gotten worse since i came back from my trip.
SO…. i already registered and first class starts up on december 4th.
and if my mother reads this… i hope she’s proud.

the britees. store is ALMOST ready to go! workin on a few more designs… but for the time being have the main ones set.
lookin good lookin good. i’ve been busting my ass for hours on end every night after work, crackin out designs, ideas, writing the book, lookin ahead… etc.
i’m capable of doing ANYTHING… its about time i realized it. ;)
