A friend of Alex’s mom emailed me late last night saying that FOX4News in Dallas did a small segment ABOUT THE PETITION, last night, and they aired it twice!
They also told people about the link to it – which is FANTASTIC.
last night i received an email from a VERY reliable source, AND i want everyone to know that we CANNOT stop this. please understand that i can’t mention her name, but i assure you, its not anyone that you know. as for what she said… this post pretty much sums it up!
if we ever needed to push for this to break ground, it is IMMEDIATELY, and i’m beyond serious right now.
YOU NEED TO SPREAD THIS AROUND THE INTERNET LIKE WILDFIRE!!
POST ON THE YOUTUBES! FACEBOOK! MESSAGEBOARDS (but NOT Idols)! THE COMMENTS ON THE ARTICLES!
NOW HERE IS WHAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN:
everyone needs to hit up FOX.
DIRECTLY.
if you already have in the last week, do it again. if even the slightest thing comes to mind about all of this that you maybe forgot to mention… send another email. If you sent in an email last night, don’t stop there. ANY THING you think of that you didn’t write… send another one.
if they receive an overwhelming number of calls, complaints, whatever, from the viewers, I CAN TELL YOU RIGHT NOW, WE HAVE A CHANCE. everything you’ve written in the last 5 days. think about what you had to say about tues night when they did the Stones theme. how you felt. more importantly how ALEX BEING THERE WOULD HAVE MADE IT BETTER.
it doesn’t need to be an epic novel... but… be specific.
anything you come up with. here’s some stuff to help you…
what is it about him that america loves? that YOU love? what were you thinking about on tuesday nite when the others performed and he wasn’t there? how do you think they did? HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE PETITION? many of you have emailed me and have been practically in tears that your voices could finally be heard. was there a lack of heart last night on the show? don’t babble on and on about how much you love him and he’s adorable and yada yada. throw it in when its right… but be SURE to talk about what the show means NOW to you. will you watch anymore? will you buy tickets to see the tour anymore? how about the other contestants? DO NOT BE JUVENILE IN THIS and start name calling, but DO tell the truth. was the show boring? how do you feel about being ignored for the last 5 days, knowing that FOX has seen the petition? what about ALEX do you adore? talk about his shyness. his vulnerability. his fright on stage that made him that much more endearing. tell them he needs to be brought on as a wildcard. THEY CAN do it if they WANT to. muster up every damn thing you’ve all been going on and on and on about this entire time… AND TELL FOX. TELL THEM WHAT THEY ARE LOSING WITHOUT ALEX. TELL THEM WHAT THEY ARE LOSING BY IGNORING THE PETITION. TONS OF RATINGS, VIEWERS, CREDIBILITY. REMIND THEM OF THE TRUTH. in the HISTORY of this show… no one has gained this much buzz before the top 12…. EVER. tell them how YOU FEEL. all the things we feel that Alex ADDS to the show…. point them out. speak from your heart. and be honest.
be sure to mention the things you’ve all emailed ME. SO MANY OF YOU tell me that you’ve watched for years, and you’ve never been so touched by a contestant before Alex, ever. you were still upset about days after. what about VFTW(votefortheworst)? what about how everyone thinks that all these people DID NOT vote? were you able to get through? were you in missouri without even having POWER that night? all of these things need to be taken into consideration. how bout the polls? how about the countless media attention, the articles, the MEDIA agreeing that this season is awful and they made a terrible mistake letting alex go! cause the media has been saying this! if you had to stand on that stage and one by one, tell the world how you’ve felt for the last 5 days… including everything i mentioned above… what would you say?
AGAIN – send a few different emails if you need to. the more they get from us, the better.

a last sidenote on the above: i received an email saying that it looks like i’m sending you out to do the work for me, and i hope you know that is not the case BY ANY MEANS. i’ve been constantly thanking all of you whenever i can… theres a post in this blog from days ago where i said “it started with just one, you all helped get the rest. ” i’ve gotten about 5 hours of sleep every night straight for the last week, because i’ve been consumed with this. these posts are here to give “direction”. i can’t email 17,000 people individually.. and so i write in here for you. i’ve been posting, emailing, commenting, anywhere i possibly can. just wanted you all to know that i’m doing my part. more than i probably should be since im like a zombie these days, haha… but i AM DOING THIS WITH YOU. <3

Hi, here is the email I just sent to fox:
I can’t tell you how devastated I was to see Alex Lambert kicked off of American Idol last week. He was one of the most popular contestants and the BEST TALENT I have seen on the show in years!!! I have been a faithful viewer for years and years. This has totally destroyed my faith in the voting system used. I tried for hours to vote and got a busy signal constantly. (Which I assumed was because Alex was getting tons and tons of votes, which made me happy to keep trying), but I never did get through and then to discover that he didn’t get enough votes??? Something is definitely wrong here. I’ve voted every week and never had this problem before.
I know you all can bring him back if you want, and AMERICA WANTS HIM BACK!!!
I have no desire to watch the show without him and now that I don’t trust the voting setup, it seems like a joke, or that it’s already decided by whoever controls the outcome at AI.
The show this year was definitely lacking and the only thing that would save it for me is to BRING ALEX BACK AND FIX THE VOTING PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in the show. I know I am not alone as I am only one of over 16,000 plus viewers who have risen to make our voices heard by signing the petition to bring Alex back. I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL VIEWER FOR YEARS, BUT NOW I FEEL CHEATED AND IGNORED. YOUR VOTING SYSTEM IS FLAWED!!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THIS THE BEST SEASON OF AMERICAN IDOL EVER, BRING ALEX BACK AND WATCH HIM BECOME THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL WINNER!!!! NOW THAT WOULD BE A STORY!!! I believe he has what it takes to be a TRUE AMERICAN IDOL!!! AND WORTHY OF THE TITLE!
If nothing happens and we are ignored, I can assure you, I will no longer be watching. I hope you will give this the attention it deserves, your shows success rests on the people watching, and we are all watching what will happen. I hope you make the right decision. Or, I will miss the show.

This is what I sent:
You guys should really bring Alex back. Not only was he good, but he was also growing. And as everyone else said, that’s what this show is really about. Taking an unknown, unfamiliar, talented singer, and polishing them into a confident, successful artist. Just like Ellen said, he was just starting to ripen. He was the only reason people even turned on the TV to watch American Idol. He has the potential to become who he’s supposed to be, a talented, successful artist, who WILL sell many records not only because he’s good, but because he’s nothing we’ve ever heard before. His voice is so unique, it stands out and reaches the hearts of millions of people. He’s not just any kind of singer, not what you hear on radios these days. Pop bubblegum trash that only tweens like to hear, which is probably the main reason it’s still around. He’s a soulful singer, who really feels the emotion of the track he’s singing, and he really connects to not only the song, but the people listening to it. This guy is really what American Idol is about, like I said before. It will show people that dreams can come true, no matter what, because Alex, who started from coffee shops with at the most 25 people, actually chased his dreams and actually did it. So please, take this into deep consideration and think about how many people are turning off their TVs because the one thing that they loved is gone. Last night, I still couldn’t believe he was gone. I kept on waiting for Ryan to say “And here’s Alex Lambert taking on the Stones.” But it never happened, leaving me with an emptiness that was so saddening, I had to turn the TV off. Please, do not take this lightly. I know it may seem like “So what? It’s just her.” but it’s not JUST me. It’s more that 16,000 people and counting (more signing the petition by the minute). And more importantly, it’s Alex, a young KID. He doesn’t know what to do yet, and American Idol can show him the way. Just one more chance is all he’ll probably need. And I know, alot of you are thinking that it’s not fair to the other eliminated contestants, but it is fair. They don’t have fans signing petitions, sending emails, begging, pleading, for their Idol to come back. They don’t have people dedicated to bringing them back. So please, consider it, atleast, because I know that deep in your hearts, you know Alex has got potential. You KNOW it. He can change the music industry. Please, BRING HIM BACK!!!
Here is what I sent -
Dear FOX,
I cannot express in words how devestated I was when I found out Alex Lambert, one of the top contenders, had been voted off of American Idol last Thursday. Never had I been this upset to see someone go. Not just becuase I was a fan of his, but because TRUE, raw talent had been let go way too soon when others who weren’t as worthy made it. Many say it is becuase he was too shy and had a bad case of stage fright. He wasn’t used to being in front of such a large audience and quite frankly, he didn’t know what to do. That is NO excuse to not keep in on the show. This is supposed to be a show where young singers learn and grow, right? Wrong! At least that’s how it has become.
I used to be a loyal fan, tuning in every week, even if my favorite had gone home. Now, I just don’t know. I do know, however, I will NOT be watching the show from now on. I refuse to support a show that claims it helps young singers become stars, but then kicks them off once they start to show true potential at being a superstar. Even KARA said we will see him grow. She said, and I qoute -
” And what you have is an incredible, recordable voice… people would die to have that tone. I mean, producers, writers… and you have it… and you don’t even know what to DO with it! And THAT’S WHY I LOVE THIS SHOW, cause you’re gonna learn, and one day we’re gonna sit here and go, ‘OH MY GOD… look at THIS. Look where he came from.’ Great improvement. ”
Does THAT say anything?!
This show has become a POPULARITY competition more than anything. It’s ridiculous how people can get through with looks, and looks alone. Who cares if Alex has a mullet! Who cares if he doesn’t have dreamy eyes or long, blond locks! He’s still a fantastic singer! It kills me how people who can’t even sing can get through because certain websites promote them. i.e. vote for the WORST. That is exactly what that website did. Encouraged people to vote for people with no talent whatsoever! If they hadn’t done that, would Tim still be here? NO. He would not.
Don’t say we should’ve voted when we had the chance either! Did you ever think of the part of the country who was out of power?? How could THEY have voted for him? And did you ever think about all the people who DID try to vote couldn’t because of YOUR flawed voting system? I, for example, spent hours trying to call only to hear the busy signal time after time after time. If YOU actually had a legit voting system, I gaurantee you Alex would still be here. This whole show is fixed, and this proves it.
I have made my desicion. I’m sure all the 16,000+ people who have signed the petition are with me too. I have decided to shut off my television to not only American Idol, but FOX in general. That is, until Alex comes back. Good luck keeping up your ratings.
-Suzy
This is what I sent to Fox. Subject line read “Three songs just aren’t enough.”
As you must know, your voting system is severely flawed. No results can be taken seriously. The voting system is not a true barometer of how America feels. That’s not our fault; that’s your fault.
I’m not sure how loudly we need to scream to be acknowledged. We want Alex Lambert back. That kid is everything this show is about: a kid plucked from some random town in the country with raw talent and humility and no other means to show it off.
So he had some stage fright. We LOVE that. That’s what makes him great! We don’t want to see some cocky kid up there who has already had tons of experience and knows how to work the crowd. I want to hear a voice and watch the stage presence develop week to week. That’s what America likes. It somehow makes us feel as if we had a small part in making this “nobody” a SOMEBODY. Think Carrie Underwood. I feel proud now when I see that girl. I was a part of that.
You made a Top 13 last year with no real explanation. You did that because you wanted to. If your concern this time is about the integrity of the show, this is actually the ONLY way you can restore that integrity this season. Because of your voting system and what votefortheworst.com has done, the show has become a silly joke. STOP IGNORING US. We’re not going away.
I need more Alex Lambert songs for my car. Any idea how I could get that?
And this is what I posted on Ellen’s site:
The American Idol voting system yields inaccurate results. We all know that by now. If American Idol really wants to measure viewer opinions, they will consider this: On a performance night, viewers can sit and hit redial continuously for two hours straight. If they’re lucky enough to have AT&T, they can also text. So when Ryan tells America the number of votes cast, that’s not PEOPLE. That’s thousands of people voting hundreds of times. It cannot possibly be measured. Yet, our petition indicates the number of PEOPLE who want Alex. Change.org only permits one vote per e-mail address. So, essentially, the 16,852 (as of midnight on Wednesday, but consistently growing) signatures on the petition represent 16,852 PEOPLE. 16,852 PEOPLE want to hear more from Alex Lambert and see what else he can do. 16,852 people are outraged. And, most importantly, in less than one week, 16,852 people have gone out on a limb and made the effort to scream that message loud and clear. How can this MUCH MORE accurate indicator be ignored?
I sent this to fox:
Dear Fox,
I’m writing you today to express how disappointed I am after the elimination of Alex Lambert from the show American Idol. I have watched American Idol avidly since it first aired, and this is the first time I have ever felt the need to write about a contestant, especially one that didn’t even make it into the top twelve. Alex Lambert was a genuine character on the show, someone sweet and humble, but most importantly he had potential. I (and thousands of other people) felt he had the voice and potential to go all the way and were completely shocked by the results. Polls and itunes sales show a popularity that for some reason was not demonstrated by those results. I feel like he, along with all of his fans, were robbed.
He was the only person on the show I could see successfully having an album that would be contemporary and fresh enough to appeal to many people. He has a very radio friendly voice. That is incredibly important because the radio is where songs go from sitting on the shelf unnoticed to becoming hits. His personality and voice has also helped in generating a large fan base who would love to see him live on the Idol tour.
Without Alex on the show, I really have no desire to continue watching this season. I’ve heard from many others they feel the same. With his elimination I do not feel there are any other singers on the show who really appeal to my age group (I am 19). As of right now there hasn’t been any mention of a wild card for season 9, but I really think it would be in the show’s best interest to add one. Clay Aiken was brought back as a wild card, and look how much success that generated for the show. I don’t see any reason why bringing him back as a wild card would hurt American Idol, but show ratings could potentially suffer if he is not brought back.
I’m sure you’re aware of the petition to bring Alex back on, and I am surprised there hasn’t been more news on your response. I hope you do really consider the request.
Thank you,
Anna Wagner
**Here is what I just wrote and sent to Fox**
To whom it may concern at the Fox Network and/or American Idol: (I appreciate your time, please take the time to read through this e-mail from an avid Fox viewer)
I’m sure you have been bombarded by e-mails regarding the abrupt elimination of Alex Lambert on American Idol last week. I have personally never seen a petition nor have I signed one for an American Idol contestant before. After seeing Alex’s elimination last week, I immediately searched the internet to see what fans were saying and came across this petition and had to sign it. At this very moment there are 16, 915 signatures and counting, all from devastated fans who desperately want to see Alex back on the show!
It is so disappointing to hear of websites such as votefortheworst.com whose sole purpose is to take away a chance from a promising contestant just for their personal enjoyment. The truth is that yes, there are people who don’t enjoy American Idol and think it’s a waste of air time, but then there’s the million others who look forward to it every year (like myself). I personally was calling as many times as I could last Wednesday night to make sure Alex didn’t get voted off. I was just as shocked as he and the other contestants were when we heard the verdict. Something just doesn’t seem right.
Alex Lambert is the type of contestant American Idol needs. He is young, current, good looking, with a sweet & humble personality and a truly unique voice. From someone who listens to a lot of genres of music, I know that he appeals to a lot of different audiences. If Alex was in the Top 12, he would go SO far and I know would have a VERY good chance at winning! His fans just feel like he never got that chance.
Last year, there was a Top 13. My friends and I went to their concert here in Washington and it was amazing! This year, it is back to Top 12 which is unfortunate simply because they didn’t add Alex as a 13th contestant like they did to Anoop last year. I understand that the judges have one save, and they can bring back an eliminated contestant but this is once they’re in the Top 12. Alex never got that chance. He was absolutely robbed of this. His goodbye was truly heart-breaking, you could see it all over his face and the contestant’s faces.
It seems like Fox nor the producers or anyone from American Idol have acknowledged the petition for Alex Lambert to return to the show for a second chance due to fan demand. This is unfortunate because we are the ones at home voting like crazy and we are the ones who buy the records, the concert tickets, etc. The fans want to be heard! Please do us a HUGE favor and make an exception and ask Alex to return to the show! He would be so honored and WE would be SOOO thrilled! Fox and American Idol, you will not be disappointed! Guaranteed the ratings will continue to go up or even soar. I personally know people who have stopped watching the show because Alex is gone. It’s so disheartening to see your favorite contestant be eliminated. But this could all change!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to your viewers and ask Alex Lambert to be back on American Idol! In America, we speak our minds and voice our opinions, google Alex Lambert and you’ll see that this is truly what fans of the show want- to see him back!
Thank you for taking the time to read through this and please do take all of these e-mails, letters, blog postings, petitions, news articles, etc. to heart!
BRING ALEX LAMBERT BACK!
Thank you!!!!
Sincerely,
Sarah C. (Seattle, WA)
I sent this to fox:
To whom it my concern,
I sent an email last week imploring you to bring back Alex as the wildcard on American Idol. After his dismissal the outrage and attention it so quickly drew gave me hope that fox might rectify the situation. However the most disappointing aspect of Tuesday’s show was not that an invitation for his return was not extended, but that fox did not even bother to acknowledge the nearly 17,000 fans who felt slighted and dissatisfied in a show that has for so long generated tremendous support and excitement. Why did Ryan refrain from mentioning the notice Alex is receiving from fans across the world- Canada, Venezuela, Brazil, England, etc?
I am a 34-year-old mother of four. I watch American Idol with my mom, sister, cousin, and grandma. We love to chat after each episode. We have fun discussing each performance in detail: Who did we enjoy most? Which contestant will be voted off next? Who do we think will win it all? We were all fans of Alex. He was the one we enjoyed most; the one who we thought had the contest in the bag.
His loss however has now become your loss. Five dedicated fans (since year one) no longer find satisfaction in the show. We do not know Alex personally, nor do we live in Texas (… rather in Utah), but we saw great potential and talent in this young contestant and will sorely miss not hearing him sing each week on the show.
Sincerely,
Jennifer M
This is all fine and dandy to do, and I support it 100%. I even sent my letter to Fox as well as signed the petition, but let’s be logical about this. You have 17,000 people “threatening” to turn off their televisions (yeah right lol), but this weeks show blew all other shows and stations out of the water with over 20 million viewers! Think about that, they are not even slightly worried about a small amount of folks who toss around false threats of not watching anymore. Even if they didn’t watch AI again, 20 million loyal viewers keeps the show going.
You did not mention who the reliable source was that sent you an email, nor did you mention what the message said. I hope you are not promoting yourself in all of this…
Either way, good luck with all of this. I think Alex is better off without AI anyway, think of the pressure he would be under if he DID return. We are possibly making things worse for him in the long run, we are starting to sound like whiners.
Best regards,
youdontknowme
This is the least I could do for Alex Lambert.
Here’s a copy of my email to FOX:
Dear Sir/Madam,
I, along with thousand of others, believe that Alex was eliminated too soon. I was flummoxed with the result last week and to watch him crushed before my eyes is disheartening. He was completely blindsided. I chalk it up to his inexperience BUT in my opine, isn’t AI about eye-ing a talent with a good voice and help hone his/her talent? Isn’t it about growth? Watching an obscure personality transform during the whole course of the competition?
As a viewer, I appreciate contestant’s growth more so than watching a wannabe playing their part to be the next Daughtry or Clarkson. It is not a show about second chances; giving second chances to those who can not penetrate the music industry prior to joining AI and are using the show to propel themselves.
So what if Alex can’t get into his comfort zone in front of the camera? “Everyone can be more competent, but talent is innate, God-given — you either have it or you don’t.” and Alex has IT! Alex Lambert reminds me so much of Underwood and look where Underwood is right now?
I miss Alex. I miss his haunting voice. I want my banana back at AI even if it’s just wishful thinking. I can’t bear to watch the show seeing half of the 12 not deserving of the AI title. I know there is a chance that my email will be overlooked but I still hope you find my piece of grievance deemed worthy of your time and energy.
Respectfully Yours,
Madz
My E-Mail to “askfox@fox.com:”
I’ve been watch American Idol avidly since the 5th season when Chris Daughtry was kicked off in fourth place. I was mad, but that was far enough to live with, and he did go on the be as popular as he is now. With Alex Lambert, I was devastated! I cried for probably a half hour after that show. I heard stories of the lines being busy be a really long time when it was his turn to perform. If these were true and it was true the night before he was voted off, it was more like he was written out of the show, you’re not standing by you meaning of American Idol to have the people’s take on who show be the “Next Big Thing.” And it seems as though THOUSANDS of people want him to grow as a performer on the show! It’s all injustice, it is! So tell me, do you want to have the demographic to fail on you the season before Simon leaves… Wow you hate us don’t you!?
Another email to FOX:
Can you please put Alex Lambert Hollywood week Songs on Itune to download? There are only 3 songs of him there and I was wondering if you can also add the ones from Hollywood week “I’m yours” from Jason Mraz. I like Alex’s version better and I would like to purchase it since right now there is no more to download.
In that subject…. Please bring him back as you can see from thousands of people he is a great contender for the title with unexplicable reasons of why he is no longer in the show. It has to be the phone problems people are talking about and/or perhaps the voting system.. Maybe such system needs to be limited to so many per person or the judges need to have a percentage of the votes… In any event, I am really hoping you do decide to bring him back as that is such a waste of talent and lack of interest of people to watch the show.
Dear Fox,
Please bring Alex Lambert back on the show!! I could not watch this last tuesday because Alex should have been part of that group!! It feels incomplete now. Alex was the epitome of an American Idol. We were watching and following as this “diamond in the rough” was starting to shine!!! The entire department at my work was rooting for Alex Lambert and now they are UPSET and do not want to watch the show anymore!! They feel cheated and cannot watch the show anymore.
WE ARE BOYCOTTING AMERICAN IDOL AND PROMOTING DANCING WITH THE STARS NOW!!
FYI – that post was my email to fox.
Here’s what I sent to FOX:
To whom this may concern at the Fox network or at American Idol,
First off I want to thank you for your time and patience in reading this letter. I am sure that you are receiving many letters about Alex Lambert’s early exit on American Idol, and this will be another one. Now before you leave this letter and delete it from your inbox, please take what I have said here VERY seriously. I’m a 17 year old boy from California who wants to have his voice heard.
On March 11th, Alex Lambert was eliminated from American Idol. I truly believe this is a big mistake. The absence of such talent has made the show meaningless to me. This show is supposed to be about finding the most talented singer. As you can see, many people are upset over such a great loss and have taken action over it. Bring Alex Lambert back to American Idol. This statement is not to be taken likely. I have read that this weeks airing of American Idol, has reached an all-time low in ratings.
Now I’m not blaming this all on the producers or the Network. Yes I am aware that we the viewers are supposed to be voting for our favorite contestants. But the problem with that is that there are websites such as VoteForTheWorst.com which encourages people to vote for the worst in reality shows. A change in the elimination process should be made as well to prevent this from happening. Maybe after revealing the bottom 3, the must all perform and the judges will choose who is going home.
Now back to Alex Lambert, his voice, his tone, his personality, are all one of a kind. This guy has come a long way. This season, the only reason why I watch American Idol, is because of Alex. I enjoyed everyone of his performances, and as a singer myself, I look up to him. As I watched the top 12 perform on Tuesday night, something was missing. Viewers at home sat there, unsatisfied as a majority of the contestants did not even reach par in their performances. I did not look forward to anyone that night, besides the hope that Alex Lambert would have been saved and returned. His personality and voice made him such a likable person, and helped set up such a strong fan-base. The only thing that he didn’t do right was have enough experience. But what did American Idol do? It brought him many opportunities and he took advantage. His growth from week 1 to week 2 was incredible and nobody can tell he was nervous at all. Alex Lambert could very well be the next American Idol.
As I wrap up this letter, please take into consideration everything I have mentioned. I have signed the “Bring Alex Lambert BACK” petition along with 17,000+ furious fans. American Idol can still be saved if you take these into consideration: The reinstatement of Alex Lambert and a change in the Elimination process. I thank you for your time and patience in reading this letter as well as reading all the other letter’s you have received regarding Alex Lambert’s early elimination and what it has now done to American Idol.
Respectfully Yours,
Christian V. Aniceto (Fullerton, California)
My letter
Subject: Alex Lambert Deserves to be on American Idol
Face it. American Idol is amounting to nothing without Alex Lambert. People are vowing to permanently turn off idol simply because he is not a part of it. Even some of the most avid viewers who have watched it all along, every season are because of the loss of one contestant on your part. We all know that this was not America’s choice; it is clear and simple. Over 17,000 people (and growing) as I type this, do not lie. If 17000 people want him back on there, he obviously got the votes, so we all know that him being gone is your fault. You and your flawed voting system which also sabotaged David Archuleta in season 7 to not win. WE ARE THE ONES WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO DECIDE WHO DESERVES TO BE ON THERE! NOT YOU PLANNING IT ALL OUT. THAT IS NOT WHAT THIS SHOW IS ABOUT! You cannot hide, and you cannot ignore 17000 + voices. What will that look like to the media? To your sponsors? If you continue to ignore this petition, you are only hurting your network and the show. Your ratings will continue to spiral downward, your credibility will be lost and sponsors may even leave you in the dirt. All because of one guy. But wait, Alex isn’t just one guy; he’s THE guy. He has IT. And by IT I mean pure, raw talent. Why would America want to take that away from a show that is supposed to honor such things, someone who has the talent, the support, and the dream like Alex Lambert. He deserves to have his chance to SHINE. Three weeks was hardly enough time to show America anything. He said he had more to show America; LET HIM SHOW IT. You don’t even know what he is capable of. He has the instinct that Simon mentioned. What do you do? You take this all away from him, from us. This is his dream. Let him live it. And 17000 people support him 110%. I’ve never seen this much support to one contestant in any season that I’ve tuned into see. This is outrage. And I am proud to be a part of something good. He needs his chance to live out his dreams, to make them come true. Sure, he was nervous, but who wouldn’t be? To go from singing in coffee houses in front of no more than 25 people to going on the idol stage in front of millions of viewers, that takes courage. If you took him away for that reason, then I’m sad to say that there are others left on there that need to go as well. (Aaron was just as nervous) Alex is one of the good ones. I’m not going to name names of who should have went instead but I’m here to support Alex 110%. All of us are. We are here to fight for what is right. For someone who deserves this because he has IT. People love him, are you blind? Have you not seen all the buzz this is getting? More buzz than the show itself. This is crazy, but true. Even some of your own former idol contestants know what he has and are behind this. He needs to be brought back as a wild card or a save immediately, or this will just continue to grow and you will continue to hurt. So stop ignoring all the emails and do something. Do what you know is the right decision. Do what Idol is truly all about and why the show was created. He is an incredible singer, he needs that chance. Like I said before, Idol is nothing without Alex Lambert. He possesses everything than a true winner should have. He is the real deal, the real Idol Winner in America’s eyes. So make it happen, don’t wait any longer than you already have. I ♥Alex Lambert (America’s Banana)
Sincerely,
Michelle Stitzel, Middletown, Ohio
Another email I thougth of…. I just sent to fox:
I didn’t think American Idol was an olympic race to see who could get the most votes for one contestant. I, like many others did vote for Alex, but I personally did not send 3,000 votes like the message below in Tim’s Website says. No attack at Tim, This is just an example, but Is his friend going to buy 3,000 CDs? Is he going to buy 3,000 ticket for his concert? I voted and obviously the system to get the winner does not work. We, the public did our part when voting for Alex, you people at fox did not do your part on putting a fair voting system. I am sorry Alex I didn’t know I had to play a voting race. I am hoping FOX rectifies this error by bringing Alex back; if not… I will be waiting to buy your music in the future as I know you will be the next big thing.

TIIIIIM!!! YES YES YEEEEES!!! SUUUUPAHSTAH!!!! DUDE I TOLD YOU!!! I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU TOLD YOU TOLD YOU!!! LOL : ) AND BRO… IM RACKING IN OVER 3G’S WORTH OF VOTES JUST BY MYSELF FOR YOU MAN.. AND THAT IS IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME! IM A NETWORKER… I CAN DO THAT MANY WITH NOOOOO PROBLEM BRO!!!
This is what i sent to fox: Alex Lambert is sooo unique, his voice is amazing. I cannot believe he was votes off of the show. I think the voting process was flawed, it was pretty blocked up. Also, a producer told Alex he should choose a song he didn’t plan on doing. If alex were put back on the show, imagine how many itunes sales would rise. I’ve already bought allll of his songs. When I hear him singing, it just soothes me, and i listen to it over and over again, nonstop. Alex didnt deserve to leave. His voice is different than any others i’ve heard before. It’s not the boring normal Justin Beiber you hear on the radio. It’s something special. Alex is like a gem to me. During Auditions, they gathered the magic in the pile of dust, and in the magic is one special gem, and that gem is Alex. So all this searching was done for the gem, and now it’s just thrown back into the dust. I truthfully don’t understand this. All I’m asking for is for Alex Lambert to be put back on American Idol.
